We read everyday to improve our reading fluency. Fluency with numbers is equally important. Practice counting up and down to 100 and beyond. How many different ways can you do it? Don't just skip count by 2's, 5's, and 10's. Challenge yourself. Try counting by 3's, 4's, 6's, 7's, 8's and 9's.

Today Ms. Melanie taught us about the difference between steady beat, in which all the beats are the same, and uneven rhythm, which is made up of long and short beats. We moved and played drums, cymbals, and tambourines to music from Bolivia, a country in South America.
