Escape to Planet Oobleck

Students used foil to make spaceships that could land on the surface of Oobleck without sinking into it.

Tortillas Made Out of Oobleck?

Not very appetizing!

More Oobleck Discoveries

These students are self-proclaimed scientists! Yay!!!

Oobleck

We had gooey, messy fun with Oobleck, a non-Newtonian fluid made of cornstarch and water. The students discovered that when you hit it or press on it it acts like a solid, but if you touch it softly it behaves as a liquid. It's both solid and liquid!
